Students & Emerging Evaluators

CES and the Canadian Evaluation Society Educational Fund jointly manage an annual student case competition. Teams of three to five students compete in the analysis of an evaluation case file within five hours. The three best teams are invited to participate in a final round, held at the Canadian Evaluation Society’s annual conference.

Canadian Evaluation Society Educational Fund (CESEF)
The CESEF provides scholarships and awards to pursue further education in evaluation. Programs are listed on their website.

Evaluation Mentoring Canada operates with support from the CES. The program pairs experienced evaluators with mentees at no charge.

The CES National website includes a directory of post-secondary courses in evaluation.
